Terms of Use
Last updated: 22 October 2026
These terms apply when you use the Orrery app, made by Daniil Gerasimov, trading as Dangeon Studio (contact: hello@dangeonstudio.com). By using the app, you agree to them. Our Privacy Policy explains how data is handled.
For reflection, not advice
Orrery calculates planetary positions carefully, but its readings are astrology: they are offered for reflection and entertainment. They are not medical, legal, financial or psychological advice, and you shouldn't rely on them for important decisions.
Orrery Premium
- Premium is an auto-renewing subscription, available monthly or yearly. Prices are shown in the app in your local currency before you buy.
- Payment is charged to your Apple ID or Google account when you confirm the purchase.
- If a plan includes a free trial, you're charged when the trial ends unless you cancel at least 24 hours before it ends.
- The subscription renews automatically at the same price for the same period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- You can manage or cancel your subscription in your App Store or Google Play account settings. Cancelling stops the next renewal; Premium stays active until the end of the period you've paid for.
- Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their policies.
- If you live in the EU or UK, you have a 14-day right to withdraw from purchases of digital content. When you buy, you ask for Premium to start immediately and acknowledge that this right ends once it does, except where the law says otherwise. Your statutory consumer rights are not affected.
Your use of the app
You may use Orrery for your own personal use. Please don't copy, resell or reverse-engineer the app or its texts.
Ownership
The app, its design and its written readings belong to the developer of Orrery. Place data comes from GeoNames (CC BY 4.0), and the fonts and other open-source components are used under their own licences, listed in the app's settings.
No warranty
Orrery is provided "as is". We work to keep it accurate and available, but we can't promise it will always be error-free. To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect losses arising from use of the app. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law, or your mandatory rights as a consumer.
Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, USA. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live, and you can bring a claim in your local courts.
Apple
If you got Orrery from the App Store, Apple's Standard End User License Agreement also applies. These terms are between you and the developer, not Apple.
Changes
We may update these terms. The date above shows the latest version.
